Shayli is taking tumbling and dance and seems to be loving it, well much more then she did playing soccer. Everyone was really surprised that an ex-High School Soccer Coach wouldn't have a hard time with her daughter when she didn't want to play soccer. Well I didn't, all I required of her was that she finished the season out, which we BOTH did, I was the coach. Shayli didn't love or even 'like' playing it was a fight every Saturday morning to get her ready. One day in April after we had had our team pictures and played our game, I came home as was cleaning the house, when I went to vacuum her room I found spots of red all over the floor. I called her in to find out what it was, well I'll tell you how much she loved the sport. She had taken a pair of scissors and "fringed" the bottom, and the neck area, and ALSO cut "V" holes in the neck area. That is when I really knew she didn't like the game, Oh well, as long as she finds something she loved and stays with it is all that matters to me.
We also are the owners of a Pony, Strawberry, so far she has loved riding, and so have all the kids in the hood too. Shayli is quite the poser with her little friend Haylee, those two are good friends and I'm so glad to see Shayli surround herself with good friends.
